Brody did pretty well at therapy this morning. We got some good news and some bad news. First the good news...they took his measurements today (just like on day 1 of therapy) and they are all MUCH better. But he is still lacking range of motion in all parts. For example his hips they are now only 5 degrees off for being neutral but hes is actually supposed to have another 20 degrees "negative" movement...like if he were on his tummy, he should be able to pick his thigh up off the ground and he cant do that...YET! but we are progressing very slowly. I just feel like we have hit a plateau, hopefully not.
After they were done stretching him today I was a little upset and hearing that he was still missing so much range so I began questioning why they hadn't put him in braces, cast or even taken an x ray for that matter. so they sent me upstairs to my pedi. to get a referral for orthopedics...so now we are at 5 specialist and a pedi. 6 doctors! We go to them on Jan. 22nd. They are going to take x rays and find out if its his bones or muscles or what.
SO- Here's a little calendar update.
