Doctors Appointment

I went in to be checked and to have an ultrasound. Needless to say, I'm not dilated at all and the baby hasn't dropped yet. I have a week and a half left. I don't think I'll ever go into labor! They noticed on his ultrasound that he had some fluid in his kidney. It's common and they call it hydronephrosis. Basically, there is nothing they can do right now and they say its no big deal. He has

to be checked out after hes born. In most mild to moderate cases it requires nothing but for them to

watch it. Although, in severe cases it requires surgery, but its very "easy" and is still a small thing. But,

we wont know until after he's born if its bad or not. The way they put it to me was....He has a little kink

in the hose that runs from his kidney to his bladder. So, some of the urine isn't making it to the bladder.

But they did say that because the amniotic fluid levels are good then they must be working pretty good.

Still pretty scary ya know? On a less scary note! they said he looks great. They are estimating him to be

around 6lbs & 10oz. But those things are never close. So we'll see! I can't wait to meet him! It's going

to be the best day of my life!!!!
